National Built Heritage Service Traditional Skills Training March-May 2026

03 March 2026

The National Built Heritage Service (NBHS) has assembled a team of conservation practitioners and experts for a series of one- and two-day traditional skills training events aimed at owners of traditional buildings and contractors and professionals wishing to upskill.

Attendance will benefit owners and those advising and working on traditionally-constructed buildings and will particularly benefit owners of vacant traditional buildings who are considering undertaking the repair, reuse and retrofit of the traditional building or who simply wish to get accurate and impartial best conservation advice on its day-to-day maintenance.

Join the mailing list and hear about upcoming traditional skills training days as they are announced by emailing vernacular@housing.gov.ie
