40 projects throughout Ireland are to receive funding for conservation-led repairs under the Historic Structures Fund 2026.
The Historic Structures Fund, funded by the National Built Heritage Service in the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage, and administered by the local authorities, enables vital investment in our rich built heritage and helps custodians and owners of historic structures safeguard them for the future benefit of communities and the general public. The grant funding allocated under the Historic Structures Fund 2026 will be used to repair a wide variety of protected structures which are landmarks of our cities, towns and villages.
