Description

Small demesne for original pre-1836 house, which had extensive orchards on the east side. Late landscape park erected for the mid-19th century house, which is well set, separated from the parkland by carriage drive and raised terrace and flanked by blocks of trees. Tree-lined approach avenue also serves as a shelter belt. The shelter belt and demesne walls are a significant feature in the surrounding landscape.
