Triple-arch humpback sandstone bridge, built c.1820, carrying road over River Finn. Round arches, middle flanked by smaller arches, having dressed stone voussoirs and dressed stone V-shaped cutwaters to piers to each elevation. Coursed rubble stone to soffits and parapets, with dressed stone copings.
This picturesque road bridge over the River Finn is evidence of skilled local craftsmanship and civil engineering at the beginning of the nineteenth century. The larger central arch creates a pleasing humpback effect and provides a sense of drama to the elevations, making it an aesthetic focal point on the landscape. It is enhanced by dressed stone to voussoirs, cut-waters and copings.
