Detached four-bay single-storey gamekeeper's lodge, dated 1908, having gabled porch to front (south-east) elevation, and catslide projection to rear. Now disused. Hipped tiled roof, with red brick chimneystacks, terracotta ridge cresting, ridge tiles, and finials. Cast-iron rainwater goods. Flat roof and rendered chimneystack to extension. Harl-rendered walls, red brick visible underneath in places. Dressed stone shield-shaped date plaque over door to front. Square-headed window openings throughout, having render reveals, dressed stone sills, and four-over-four pane timber sliding sash windows. Two-over-two pane timber sliding sash windows to north-east elevation of rear projection. Segmental-headed door opening to porch to front, with timber panelled door and paned fanlight.
The inclusion of a gamekeeper's lodge at Hilton Park provides an indication of the power and wealth of the estate. Although it is now derelict, this modest house is enlivened and enhanced by decorative features such as terracotta ridge cresting and finials, timber sliding sash windows which provide architectural interest, and a date plaque.
