Freestanding carved limestone funerary monument dedicated to Joseph Grey of Rockfield House, erected c.1884. Rectangular-plan plinth and base, moulded cornice below tapering octagonal-plan pinnacle with egg-shaped finial. Pointed-arch insets with marble plaques to east and west faces, inscribed with dedication to Grey to east face, marble lancet plaque to north and south faces. Located to south-west of west entrance of Braddocks Presbyterian Church.
This late nineteenth-century funerary monument is of apparent artistic interest, and contrasts in style and materials to the plainer monuments of this Presbyterian graveyard. This ornate funerary monument adds interest to the graveyard, prominently located near the west entrance of the church and near the crossroads at Braddocks. Joseph Grey was resident at Rockfield House, now Avalreagh House, an important farm south of Clontibret.
