This modestly-proportioned house is enhanced by its prominent setting. The fine timber doorcase is of particular interest, with its elegant fanlight and decorative lintel, subtly enlivening the regular form of this house. a variety of timber sliding sash windows are retained, adding architectural interest. The whole complex, with outbuildings, boundary walls, well and house, combine to make an attractive group in the landscape and contribute significantly to the architectural heritage of County Monaghan.
