Cast-iron railings on coursed rubble limestone plinth walls having render capping surrounding area to front of house. This multi-period dwelling occupies a prominent position at a junction at the entrance to the hamlet of Glennan, and forms a pleasant part of the streetscape. Its various builds add to its interest, the thickness of the walls to the rear block indicating that it is the oldest part of the building. The retention of decorative timber bargeboards with dropped finials to the dormer windows adds visual interest to the facade, which is already enlivened by the pleasing visual contrast between the yellow brick, red brick and limestone of the walls and chimneystacks.
