Appraisal

This well-proportioned substantial rural farmhouse is believed locally to have been the residence of the last Chief of the McKennas. It retains most of its original form and fabric, including timber sash windows. The strong symmetry of the structure and classical proportions give it a distinctive appearance of the structure. The outbuilding to the rear adds contextual interest to the site.
