Single-arch limestone railway bridge, built c.1855, carrying land path over disused Portadown to Cavan railway line. Elliptical arch with rock-faced voussoirs, coursed stone walls and abutments, dressed stone string course above arches, English garden wall-bonded brickwork to arch soffit, and with dressed limestone parapet walls and copings.
This bridge forms part of a group of railway bridges that were part of the former Portadown and Cavan Branch of the Great Northern Railway. It is an impressive structure, characteristic of the railway era, and a reminder of the engineering achievements and quality of local craftsmanship of the late nineteenth century.
