Description

Triple-arch bridge, built c.1780, carrying road over Lennan River, comprising segmental arches with triangular cut-waters and field-stone voussoirs, and rubble stone abutments, walling and parapets.

Appraisal

A well-constructed bridge with elegant sweeping arches. It is a testament to the skilled craftsmen of the late eighteenth century. It is an important part of the district's transport infrastructure.
