Description

Double-arch bridge, built c.1810, crossing Abhainn Ghleann Átha [Glenna River], having coursed rubble stone walling, parapets with smooth-rendered copings, field-stone voussoirs forming segmental arches, and triangular cut-waters.

Appraisal

An attractive double-arch bridge whose survival and continued use are testament to the skills of its builders. It makes a contribution to the civil engineering legacy of Dún na nGall [north County Donegal].
