Detached four-bay single-storey vernacular house with attic storey, built c.1900, having lean-to porch to front elevation. Pitched Blue Bangor slate roof with recent skylights, and having three rendered chimneystacks; slate roof to porch. Rendered walls. Replacement timber sliding sash windows. Retains interior features.
A survey of Gabhla [Gola] in 2009 regards this building as the best-preserved vernacular house on the island. It retains much of its original interior and fittings. Its form and detailing are typical of the island's architecture.
