Quay, built c.1850, on north bank of mouth of Clady River. Pink granite and limestone coursed rubble walls with concrete parapet and deck, having granite and concrete steps leading to water. Cast-iron bollards and mooring posts to deck. Located to south of Bunbeg, overlooked by buildings.
A modest quay, built in the mid-nineteenth century, possibly during the Great Famine, by Lord George Hill, landlord of Gweedore, It is of considerable significance for its key role in the maritime economy of the area.
