Quay, built c.1850, on north bank of An Chláidigh [Clady River]. Pink granite and limestone coursed rubble walls with concrete parapet and deck, having granite and concrete steps leading to water. Cast-iron bollards and mooring posts to deck. Located south of An Bun Beag [Bunbeg].
A modest quay, built in the mid-nineteenth century, possibly during the Great Famine, by Lord George Hill, landlord of Gaoth Dobhair [Gweedore]. It is of considerable significance for its key role in the maritime economy of the area.
