Single-arch masonry road bridge, built c.1750, over water course. Roughly coursed rubble stone elevations and parapets with rounded render copings, parapet to upriver elevation with Scotch coping. Segmental arch having narrow roughly dressed voussoirs. Buttress to north west wing of limestone masonry blocks. Upriver elevation modified on the west side to accommodate road bend.
A fine masonry road bridge with different treatment to the upriver and downriver elevation. Its simple form and construction are typical of the eighteenth century, as is the use of locally sourced stone. It is part of the civil engineering heritage of the county.
