Double-arch stone road bridge, built c.1820, with main arch and smaller secondary arch to east side. Squared rubble stone construction having cut stone voussoirs to arch and rubble stone parapet. Humped deck with tarmac finish and no pedestrian path.
A robust stone bridge that is characteristic of the many small-scale bridges built in the nineteenth century throughout the country as part of the great expansion of the road network in that period. The bridge displays good craftsmanship in the solid rubble stone construction with cut stone voussoirs. Although now overgrown the bridge is an interesting part of the civil engineering heritage of the county.
