Detached L-plan two-storey farmyard complex, built c.1860. Pitched slate roofs, refurbished c.1950, hipped end to south-east end, clay ridge tiles, brick chimneystack to south-east, brick eaves with replacement metal rainwater goods. Rubble stone walls, cut stone quoins and brick trim to arches and openings. Multiple-bay north-west wing with wide elliptical-headed carriage arch having cut stone quoins and brick arch ring. Multiple-bay south-east wing with four stable arches having brick jambs and arches. Other openings blocked up. Remains of some timber sheeted doors.
Two handsome ranges of stable buildings of an imposing scale associated with the now demolished Cabragh House. Characterised by their L-plan arrangement and simple choice of building materials, the variety of openings with their range of architectural details are reminders of their different historic functions. The stables demonstrate the scale of agriculture that was associated with the country house in the past.
