Single-arched stone road-bridge, built c.1780, spanning waterway with low banks. Recent concrete supporting barrel to underside of original arch. Segmental arch with roughly-cut stone voussoirs. Rubble-stone spandrels and parapets with Scotch coping.
A good example of an eighteenth century stone road bridge, constructed using rubble stone masonry, and contrasting with later bridges which usually display cut stone elements. Set in a prominent open-landscape location the bridge makes a valuable contribution to the historic character of its rural setting.
