Appraisal

A demesne bridge, known as "Cecil Bridge", forming an integral part of the historic designed landscape of Castle Saunderson. The approach drive from the Fermanagh side of the demesne passes over the bridge, which incorporates substantial gates flanked by decorative stone posts exectuted to a high standard. The gates provide insight into the workings of a large counrty house site and contribute to the setting of the nearby demesne church.
