Five-span road-over-river stone bridge, built c. 1800. Uncoursed rubble limestone walling to spandrels, roughly coursed rubble limestone parapet walls, roughly-dressed parapet copings partly replaced in insitu concrete c. 1970, splayed rubble stone buttressing to east and west sides of south elevation. Round-headed arches, irregular tooled limestone voussoirs, lower level of piers and cutwaters encased in insitu concrete c. 1970, triangular dressed stone cutwaters evident above concrete, pyramidal dressed stone cappings to cut-waters. Twin bitmac carriageway deck, narrow grass verges. Spans east-west over Owenmore River.
This handsome bridge utilises locally-sourced stone in its construction and is an attractive feature in its rural setting.
