Group of semi-detached two-bay one-and-a-half-storey rendered former estate workers houses, built c. 1890, now derelict. Pitched slate roofs, clay ridge tiles, unpainted smooth-rendered corbelled chimneystack, half-round cast-iron gutters. Unpainted smooth-rendered walling. Square-headed window openings, painted four-over-four timber sash coupled windows. Square-headed door openings on gables, painted vertically-sheeted timber doors. Equally spaced along roadside.

Appraisal

This modest group of estate workers' dwellings which served Markree Estate are in marked contrast to the oppulence of the mansion. Attesting to the various activities necessary in the maintenance of a large-scale landholding the house contributes positively to the group and setting values of the Markree estate.
