Appraisal

In a spectacular, isolated, setting overlooking Sligo Harbour, this house was built as a summer residence for the owners of nearby Rathcarrick Estate. The half-dormer windows are a particularly attractive and interesting feature which retain original sash windows. The house displays simple, finely-crafted render detailing and is a landmark in the area, being visible from a great distance.
