Detached multi-bay two-storey rendered house, built c. 1880. Gabled single-storey porch to north end of east (front) elevation, pedimented projection to north end of west (rear) elevation. Pitched slate roof, clay ridge tiles, unpainted smooth-rendered chimneystacks with yellow clay pots, concrete verges to gables, cast-iron rainwater goods. Painted smooth-rendered walling, painted quoins to gables, painted timber decorative barges to porch. Square-headed window openings, painted stone sills, uPVC casement windows c. 1995. Segmental-headed entrance opening to north side of porch, hardwood panelled door with sidelights and overlight c. 1980. Corrugated iron-roofed barn to north, set well back from road among mature plant and tree growth overlooking Sligo Bay, cow tail pump to adjacent field, decorative metal entrance gate to yard, dry stone boundary walls, curved painted smooth-rendered walls to entrance from road with segmental limestone copings.
Despite some modifications this superbly located building is well integrated with the natural contours of the land and merges into the surrounding trees.
