Mooring quay, built c.1810, comprising cut limestone quay with inset steps leading down to lake. Wrought-iron mooring rings to quay. Quay is abutted to west by concrete quay and jetties linking it to a landing place.
This mooring quay, with its robust walls, forms a visually appealing pair with a mooring quay situated directly to the west. With the Rockingham estate's tunnel system opening onto the quay, it was probably used as a mooring place for boats bringing fuel and other supplies across Lough Key to Rockingham House.
