Appraisal

This attractive station building is typical of the finely-built structures associated with the nineteenth-century heyday of railway travel and transport in Leitrim and Roscommon. Its pleasant exterior is the focal point of this well-maintained station. The canopied waiting area enhances the platform onto which it fronts.
