Appraisal

A "back-to-back" handball alley illustrating the redevelopment of the Dalganpark estate as Saint Columban's Chinese Mission College (opened 1918; closed 1941). NOTE: A similar "back-to-back" handball alley was erected for the Columban Missionaries when they opened the new Dalgan Park (1938-41) at Dowdstown House in County Meath.
