Three-arch road bridge over river, extant 1915. Part creeper- or ivy-covered walls centred on tooled sandstone ashlar tapered piers with cut-sandstone stringcourses supporting parapets having lichen-covered tooled hammered sandstone rounded coping. Series of three segmental arches with rusticated sandstone ashlar voussoirs. Sited spanning Crumpaun River with unkempt banks to river.
A bridge representing an integral component of the nineteenth-century civil engineering heritage of County Mayo with the architectural value of the composition confirmed not only by the "sparrow pecked" ruby red sandstone dressings demonstrating good quality workmanship, but also by the elegant "sweep" of the arches making a pleasing visual statement at a crossing over the Crumpaun River.
