Submerged reinforced concrete tugboat hull, launched 1919. Sold, 1922. Decommissioned, 1924. Dismantled, 1935. Resold, 1937, to accommodate alternative use. Repositioned, 1974. Set in marsh on bank of River Moy.
Appraisal
The hull of a tugboat constructed by John ver Mehr and company (established 1917) of Shoreham-by-Sea to a design by Guy Anson Maunsell (1884-1961) as one of a flotilla of twelve tugboats intended to work the iron ore shipping lanes between Great Britain and Spain during the First World War (1914-8).
