Gateway, extant 1896, on a symmetrical plan comprising pair of spear head-detailed flat iron piers supporting flat iron-detailed wrought iron double gates with rendered panelled outer piers having moss-covered pyramidal capping supporting flat iron-detailed wrought iron pedestrian gates. Road fronted on a corner site at entrance to grounds of Palmerstown House.
