Two-arch road bridge over river, extant 1896. Tuck pointed coursed or snecked limestone walls with tooled cut-limestone stringcourses supporting parapets having lichen-covered rock faced hammered limestone coping. Pair of segmental arches with tooled limestone ashlar voussoirs centred on drag edged tooled cut-limestone keystones. Sited spanning Carn River with overgrown banks to river.
A bridge representing an integral component of the nineteenth-century civil engineering heritage of north County Mayo with the architectural value of the composition confirmed not only by the "sparrow pecked" sheer limestone dressings demonstrating good quality workmanship, but also by the elegant "sweep" of the arches making a pleasing visual statement at a crossing over the minor Carn River.
