Single-arch limestone canal bridge, built c.1859, with rock-faced walls and voussoirs. This bridge spans the Ballinamore and Ballyconnell canal. The canal was reopened in 1994.
This is the first bridge on the Ballinamore and Ballyconnell Canal. It is a good example of nineteenth-century engineering and makes a valuable contribution to the architectural heritage of the area. The high quality of the masonry is notable and adds to the significance of the structure.
