Description

Seven-arch road bridge over the Drowes River, built c.1820, with random coursed stone, cut stone to arch-rings and full-height up and downstream V-cutwaters.

Appraisal

Lennox's Bridge crosses the Drowes River, which is the border between Counties Leitrim and Donegal. This bridge is similar in style and construction to Mullanaleck Bridge found further up river. Of particular interest are the full-height V-cutwaters located both up- and down-river.
