Detached four-bay two-storey with attic house, built c.1860, with an early-twentieth century shopfront projecting from the ground floor. Pitched slate roof with decorative terracotta ridge tiles, cast-iron rainwater goods and brick chimneystacks. Rendered walls with stucco quoins. Two-over-two timber sash windows to first and attic floors. Recessed shop entrance with replacement timber double doors with overlights flanked by display windows on rendered stall risers with console brackets, rendered pilasters and fascia with applied lettering. Farm outbuildings to rear of site.
Bridge House is a landmark building on the road into the village of Cloone from the south. The early twentieth-century shopfront is simple in its design, embellished only by stucco consoles. The house retains many original features which contribute to its architectural interest including two-over-two timber sash windows. Bridge House is a good example of urban housing incorporating a shop.
