Detached four-bay single-storey gable-fronted former goods shed, built c.1885, now used as part of a school. Pitched slate roof with terracotta ridge tiles. Random coursed stone walls with brick barge courses to gables. Original doorways in long walls now blocked and have modern windows inserted. Segmental-headed window openingswith replacement uPVC windows in long walls. Present doorway and window inserted into southwest gable.
This former railway building has retained some architectural features. Its plain exterior is embellished by decorative brickwork to the gable ends. The use of stone mirrors the more substantial former railway structures on the site. Having formerly served as a goods shed, this building is part of the social history of Ballinamore.
