Description

Detached seven-bay single-storey former railway shed, built c.1885, now used by a school. Flat roof hidden by cornice. Random dressed coursed stone façade with segmental-headed brick-arched openings. Rendered modernised rear wall with modern window openings. Replacement uPVC windows to facade. Timber battened door.

Appraisal

This building is of importance due to its association with the former railway, which is an important aspect in the history of Ballinamore. Although now part of St. Felim's School, it has retained its former character.
