Single-arch limestone railway bridge, built c.1885, over now disused Limerick to Sligo railway line. Comprises rusticated limestone walls, segmental arch with margined rusticated voussoirs, and rusticated parapet. Single-line track remains in situ.
This is a very well built railway bridge, that has lasted the test of time. Though now standing over a disused track, it is a monument to the high-quality masonry and engineering skills of the late nineteenth century.
