Appraisal

A well-proportioned modest-scale house, built as one of a terrace of four identical units (with 22809187/WD-21-09-187), which has been well maintained, representing the last house in the group to retain the original form and massing, together with substantial quantities of the original fabric. The house, together with the remainder of the terrace, is of particular significance as an example of local authority-sponsored housing in the mid twentieth century, and forms an appealing feature of uniform appearance in the streetscape.
