End-of-terrace three-bay two-storey house, c.1825. Refenestrated, c.1875. Pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles, rendered chimney stacks, and cast-iron rainwater goods on timber eaves. Unpainted rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with stone sills. Replacement timber casement windows, c.1875, to ground floor with replacement 1/1 timber sash windows, c.1875, to first floor. Square-headed door opening with timber panelled door, and overlight. Road fronted with sections of hoop iron railings to front.
A well-proportioned, modest-scale house that retains its original form and massing, together with important salient features and materials, and which contributes to the streetscape value of Chapel Street, adding diversity to the roofline on account of the massing, rising above the flanking ranges in the terrace.
