Three-arch rubble stone road bridge over river, c.1775. Random rubble stone walls with triangular cut-waters, and moulded rendered coping to parapets. Three segmental arches with cut-stone voussoirs, and squared rubble stone soffits having render over. Sited spanning Abha na Sead (Owennashad) River with grass banks to river.
An appealing, well-composed bridge constructed in a traditional manner, which forms a picturesque feature on the approach into Lismore from the north. The civil engineering heritage importance of the composition is identified by the rendering of the arches, which have retained their original profile.
