Appraisal

An attractive house of balanced proportions that appears to retain most of its original form and massing, despite renovation works over the course of the twentieth century that have led to the loss of much of the historic fabric. The steep pitch to the roof, together with chimney stack on axis with the ridge, suggest a building of considerable age.
