Terraced three-bay single-storey house, c.1860. Extensively renovated, c.1985. Now disused. One of a terrace of six. Pitched (shared) roof with replacement artificial slate, c.1985, clay ridge tiles, replacement yellow brick chimney stack, c.1985, and no rainwater goods on rendered eaves. Painted rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with stone sills, and replacement timber casement windows, c.1985. Square-headed door opening with replacement timber panelled door, c.1985. Set back from line of road with gravel verge to front.
An attractive house of small-scale proportions, which retains its original form and massing, but the historic integrity of which has been undermined by the replacement of much of the original fabric with inappropriate modern materials. Built as one of a terrace of six identical houses (with 22803008 - 11, 13/WD-08-03-08 - 11, 13), the house contributes positively to the appearance of Carrick Road, forming an integral component of a low-lying streetscape.
