This group of buildings, attractively arranged about a shared courtyard, is of significance as an example of an almost-intact late nineteenth-/early twentieth-century middle-size farm holding in the locality of Clonea. Despite renovations that have led to the loss of some of the original fabric, the farmhouse retains most of its original form, and some of its early character. However, the attendant outbuildings appear to remain unaltered, and retain important salient features and materials, contributing to the historic appeal of the site.
