Detached three-bay single-storey mono-pitched outbuilding, c.1875, with series of three segmental-headed carriageways. Extensively renovated, c.2000. Mono-pitched roof with replacement corrugated-ion, c.2000, and replacement metal rainwater goods, c.2000. Unpainted roughcast wall to front (south-west) elevation raised, c.2000, with unpainted replacement cement render, c.2000, to remainder. Square-headed slit-style window openings. Fittings not discerned. Series of three segmental-headed carriageways with painted red brick ‘voussoirs’, and corrugated-iron doors and double doors having hoop detailing. Set back from line of road at angle to road with concrete verge to front.
Despite extensive renovations that have led to the loss of much of the original fabric, this building retains its original form and is of some vernacular interest, as identified by the long, low massing, and the irregular displacement and proportions of the openings. The carriageways, particularly the red brick dressings and the fittings, add a distinctive quality to the composition. The outbuilding is an attractive feature in the landscape, and forms part of a larger complex with further structures of vernacular appearance and significance in the immediate locality (including 22802013 - 4, 16/WD-07-02-13 - 4, 16).
