Detached six-bay single-storey rubble stone outbuilding, c.1850, retaining original aspect. Pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles, rendered coping and rendered squared rubble stone eaves. Random rubble stone walls with lime mortar. Square-headed window openings with no sills, timber lintels and fixed-pane timber windows. Square-headed door openings with timber lintels, timber boarded doors and half-doors. Set back from road in shared grounds.
An attractive modest-scale outbuilding that is of significance for its contribution to a substantially-intact vernacular farm complex. Well maintained, the building retains its original form and character, with important original salient features and fabric intact. The outbuilding, together with the remainder in the complex (including 22801013, 15), is an increasingly rare feature of the rural Irish landscape and contributes to the visual appeal of the locality.
