Appraisal

Surviving relatively intact, this is a fine example of an enclosed farmyard complex that is typically associated with large country houses, in this case Drew's Court, which was burnt down in the 1920s. The courtyard features many of the fine quality materials that one would expect with tooled limestone sills and well executed carriage arches. An impressive porte-cochere gives access to the courtyard with a cobbled surface helping to retain the historic character of this pleasing complex.
