Wall-mounted cast-iron round-headed post box, erected c. 1915, with raised royal insignia of King George V and crown. Mounted in rendered roadside wall.
This early twentieth-century post box is of a simple design, and its insignia and crown are reminders of the period in Ireland immediately prior to Independence. The post box is also noteworthy due to the fact that it is one of a few remaining round-headed post boxes of this period in County Limerick.
