This large complex of outbuildings was once an integral part of the workings of the Caherass House estate built by the Roche family. Finely constructed, they contain high quality craftsmanship which is most notable in the limestone dressings around the doors and windows. The site retains a well maintained walled garden with brick interior and partially blocked-up servants' tunnels. The piers are particularly fine and add interest to the site. Retaining much of their original fabric, together with their original form, the outbuildings reflect the grandeur of the now demolished Caherass House.
