Appraisal

This substantial house of compact planning and fine detailing incorporates features characteristic of late nineteenth-century domestic architecture, including veranda bay windows and canted bays. Well maintained, the house retains an early aspect despite some replacement fittings. The house contributes to the historic character of the area and is indicative of the development of the suburbs of Kilmallock during the late nineteenth century.
