Freestanding triple-arch road bridge, built c.1820, spanning the Owenkeagh River. Elliptical-headed arches having dressed stone voussoirs and rendered soffits springing from rubble stone piers. Rendered V-cutwaters with saddle-backed caps to west elevation. Rubble stone spandrels and parapets with render coping to parapets. Remains of disused single-span stone railway bridge to south-east, square-headed span with cast-iron lintel.
A fine bridge which has been maintained to a high standard and remains in good condition. The structure exhibits high-quality stonework in its arches, cutwaters, spandrels and parapet walls.
