Dressed limestone spandrels surmounted by tooled limestone stringcourse and dressed limestone parapets with solider limestone and render coping.

Appraisal

A substantial, finely built viaduct which was once an essential part of the Cork, Bandon & South Coast Railway. Its impressive size makes it a dramatic feature in the landscape. Although no longer in use, the structure is a fine example of mid-nineteenth century engineering and a reminder of the extent of the rail network in the past.
